Nao's friends ans lovers, hello, It is with great pleasure that i put the first online social network dedicaced to our dear little robot. Its name is BlogYourNao. You can access it from NaoForge menus. Wether or not you are in the beta test, you can come and serach for videos, photos, behaviors and discuss about Nao. You can create user groups and share your ressources. For example, a group for centralize all Nao's video. Or create a photo's gallery. Later, when Nao will be marketed, it will be interesting to share behaviors, test them and find here updates. These are some ideas. See you soon on BlogYourNao. |

After nearly two years of waiting, here we are finally and i think that even if it is not cheap it's worth my while. With the exception of the prize, the beta will give us the answers to many questions we had asked for all these long months and to finally have something real, Nao remained something virtual until now. NaoForge will follow this beta from the interior (il my registration is confirmed) and i hope to be able to share with those who couldn't join beta, pictures, videos and small reports as we discover Nao as well as events at AR. |

Hello, Aldebaran Robotics is proud to announce you the launch of the beta-test of Nao. Our aim is to analyze how Nao-interested people like you would interact with it so we can keep on developing the best personal humanoid robot you have ever seen. As a beta-tester, you will really be at core of Nao’s adventure. Your experience, your feedbacks, your suggestions and your requests will be the inputs enabling us to improve Nao. We will build a special and close relationship with every beta-tester : you will be invited to exclusive events ; you will be the firtst to know the latest developments on Nao ; you will have access to a dedicated forum to share with us and the other beta-testers ; you will be involved in challenges (not only for advanced programmers) and show us your creativity and skills. - it is open for individual customers living in France or UK only
- it is priced at 4800€, all taxes included
- for the price, you'll get 2 NAOs: a first one to be beta-tested and, as a gift for your participation and help, a second one as soon as we release the product to the general public
- the Nao's version to be beta-tested is called "V3+" - this is the most advanced Nao we have ever designed
- the package also includes all necessary documentation and software, including ChoregrapheC.

 Hi everyone!
It's been a long time since we began to discuss about Nao on this forum.
So, first of all, I'd like to thank all of you guys fort the incredible feedbacks, ideas and suggestions you gave us in order to help us improve Nao.
Now, let's break the big news: the beta-test program of Nao for individual customers is officially open! (France and UK only)
Here are the details:
- the beta-test is priced at 4800€, all taxes included
- for the price, you'll get 2 NAOs : a first one to be beta-tested and, as a gift for your participation and help, a second one as soon as we release the product to the general public
- the Nao's version to be beta-tested is called "V3+". We will soon give you more insights on this version - but you can already tell you this the the most advanced Nao we have ever designed and built
- moreover, if we feel an upgrade of your beta-tested Nao is necessary, we will do it and won't charge you for this
To apply for this beta-test, please fill and send us the form available here at emartinet [at] aldebaran-robotics.com.
Note that only a restricted number of applicants will eventually be selected for the beta-test, so don't take too much time to make up your mind. Don't worry, we will remember people who have been helping us on the forum when we do the selection.
Last but not least, Aldebaran's policy is that beta-testers are not customers: they're partners for us and we intend to set up a close relation with them, based on mutual trust and respect. For instance, they will be invited to exclusive events and the first to know the latest developments we do on Nao.
